Hey everyone,

I've been using SctEd to edit all my sector files, and I've found it slow, at times, especially with huge sector files like those of Anchorage, that cover some 2 million square miles of airspace...

I've heard it's possible to edit sector files using CAD software. Does anyone have any insight into this? Thanks.

I have the beginnings of a solution. Can anyone take it from here?

1. Find a chart of an airport diagram. (I use aircharts.)
2. Use an online conversion tool to make the PDF into a DXF.
3. Open the DXF in AutoCAD, delete everything extra, such as lat/long lines, and excess lettering.
4. Add whatever is needed to the diagram.

From here, I've been unable to find a way to export from DXF to SCT2. Ideas? Thanks.
