The default icons for a plane squawking normal and squawking standby look almost identical. I'm currently training for my S1, and I often accidentally hand off aircraft to tower (on Sweatbox) squawking standby without realizing it until it's too late. Being able to customize these symbols and make them more easily differentiable would make my life a lot easier and result in fewer accidental bad handoffs.

Various radar modes are helpful for this. I'd recommend DSR mode, but that is designed for CTR control, so it's a little early. For now, try to differentiate between the triangle for squawking normal and the star for squawking mode C.

I try to do this, but the icons are so tiny and can look incredibly similar if I'm not careful. Being able to change stby from a triangle to a capital S, for instance, would make the two modes much more easily differentiable.
