The sector ID's for my facility (Phoenix TRACON) are not displaying properly from what is in the POF I imported. For PHX_APP's default combined position, PHX_A_APP, the sector ID should be PA, but vSTARS is displaying AA. Adjacent facilities' ID's are displaying correctly such as Albuquerque Center and Phoenix ATCT. I've double checked the POF to see that everything is formatted correctly, and also checked VRC with the same POF and it displays the ID's correctly. Also the correct frequency is being used so that isn't the issue.

This isn't a huge issue obviously, just peculiar.

Check to make sure the controller is logged in as a legal position, IE APP/DEP, and not OBS.

You never know.

Although if it works in VRC it should work in vSTARS.

Check for any duplicates of the PA SECID in the POF?

I'm getting the same problem too. I tried everything and believe it's a frequency issue. For whatever reason vSTARS doesn't recognize the position when it's using the correct frequency (128.400). Thoughts?

Let me know where I can grab a copy of the POF file to check it out.

Here's mine: http://www.mediafire.com/?0c3rzsrugnsrpuv

The position in question is PHL_NA_APP. All positions at that TRACON work except NA. The other ARTCC has the same issue, so here's their POF: http://www.mediafire.com/?64vb7y2sjhbyef4

Turns out it was a bug in the POF importer. Due to a quirk in how floating point numbers are parsed, 128.400 was parsed as 128.399. I've increased the floating point precision and it works now. This fix will be in the next release.

The new version is ready ... you'll need to reimport your POF file.
