Sounds like you need to contact VATSIM about your account. Look around on the VATSIM.net web site for a membership contact address.

Or, of course, if you're trying to connect within 24 hours of joining VATSIM, remember the message you were presented during the join process --- it can take up to 24 hours for your membership information to propagate through to all of the VATSIM servers. Server synchronizations occur with the various servers at various times throughout the day. So if you joined less than 24 hours ago, either wait or try another server until you find one that works.

Another issue that people sometimes have is copying and pasting their CID and/or password, and inadvertantly copying an extra space character at the end of the CID and/or password. Try typing in your CID and password carefully. Post your CID here if you want me to check it, alternatively, Ross is right, you may have to contact Membership.

If it was a password issue, I assume the error message wouldn't mention suspension.

To the original poster ("props") ... what is the EXACT error message?
